Preliminary test

The content of test item dissolved in the water sample was 85.2 g/L.

Main study

The results for the samples were taken at 24, 48 and 72 hours. The 48-hour measurement was significantly higher than the 24- and 72- hour measurements (maximum difference > 15%), possibly due to contamination of the analyzed water sample with a small undissolved particle of the test item. Based on this, the water solubility of the test item was given as the mean value of the 24- and 72-hour measurements.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The water solubility of the Tetraethylammonium tetrafluoroborate at 20°C is 256 g/L.
Executive summary:

The flask method was applied for the determination of the water solubility of Tetraethylammonium tetrafluoroborate. The water solubility of the test item was given as the mean value of the 24- and 72-hour measurements. The water solubility of the test item at 20°C was 256 g/L. The pH of the aqueous samples was in the range 2.1 -2.7.
