Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Based on ample data collected from studies with alkyl lactates and fatty alcohols, the LC50 for freshwater fish is estimated at 0.076 mg/L, the EC50 for Daphnia magna at 0.096 mg/L, and the ErC50 for Algae at 0.019 mg/Lbased on the ECOSAR class of esters. Chronic data showed fish to be the most sensitive species with an estimated chronic value of 0.002 mg/L.

measure this predicted effect. If the effect level exceeds the
water solubility by 10X, typically no effects at saturation (NES)
are reported.
