Isopropyl 2-bromoisobutyrate has to be considered as dangerous for the environment since experimental tests show effects on environment and that this substance is not ready biodegradable.

The hazard statement Chronic Aquatic Toxicity 2 and the sentence H411 "Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects" are then required.
