This highly insoluble substance makes aquatic toxicity testing impractical. Data waivers are indicated. Read across from similar substances (rape oil, sulphonated, sodium salt, EC 293-618-7) and sulfited fat liquors EC 307-037-4 and EC 281-975-1 indicate the substances have a low toxicity to aquatic life. For example, the 96hr LC50 for fish is 100 mg/L active substance based on a limit test using a water accomodated fraction (WAF) method.
