No definitive determination was feasible by either EC Method A6 or OECD Method 105 because of significant surface active properties in water. At the request of the sponsor, the water solubility was estimated using a visual assessment procedure -

Tyndall beam technique.

Water solubility was less than 0.6 mg/L. It is highly likely that the sulphated fatty acids vegetable oil is insoluble (less than 0.1 mg/L) by OECD test guideline definition.
