Several studies are available in order to determine the acute toxicity of substances of the category of derivatives of 4,4’-bis(1,3,5-triazinyl-2-yl)amino)stilbene-2,2’-disulfonic acid, each with one anilino and one alkyl amino moiety to fish. Those studies demonstrate that the substances belonging to the category are with a high probability acutely not harmful to fish. Therefore, the substance defined in section 1 is with high probability acutely not harmful to fish.

Several studies are available in order to determine the acute toxicity of substances of the category of derivatives of 4,4’-bis(1,3,5-triazinyl-2-yl)amino)stilbene-2,2’-disulfonic acid, each with one anilino and one alkyl amino moiety to daphnids. All of those studies prove that the substances belonging to the category are with a high probability acutely not harmful to daphnids. Therefore, the substance defined in section 1 is with high probability acutely not harmful to daphnids.

A study is available in order to determine the long-term toxicity to Daphnia magna of one member of the category of derivatives of 4,4’-bis(1,3,5-triazinyl-2-yl)amino)stilbene-2,2’-disulfonic acid, each with one anilino and one alkyl amino moiety. The study demonstrates that the analogue substance is with a high probability chronically not harmful to aquatic invertebrates. Therefore, the substance defined in section 1 is with high probability chronically not harmful toaquatic invertebrates.

Furthermore, three studies are available in order to determine the toxicity of the category to algae. Those studies demonstrate that the substances belonging to the category of derivatives of 4,4’-bis(1,3,5-triazinyl-2-yl)amino)stilbene-2,2’-disulfonic acid, each with one anilino and one alkyl amino moiety are with high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic algae. Therefore, the substance defined in section 1 is with high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic algae.

Studies are available in order to determine the toxicity of the category to microorganisms. Those studies show that the substances belonging to the category of derivatives of 4,4’-bis(1,3,5-triazinyl-2-yl)amino)stilbene-2,2’-disulfonic acid, each with one anilino and one alkyl amino moiety do not inhibit the degradation activity of activated sludge in concentrations lower or equal than 100 mg/L. Therefore, the substance defined in section 1 is with high probability not harmful to microorganisms.
