The substance has been classified according to EU Directive 67/548/EEC and the EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 as follows:

R52/53 - Harmful to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.

Chronic Category 3; H412: Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.

These classifications are consistent with those found in Annex VI to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Dangerous Substances.
