Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The determination was carried out with the vapour pressure balance according to the EU Method A4 and OECD 104 under GLP conditions. No deviation from the guidelines was observed during the test.

Assessment of the data for the second sequence of ten runs shows a drop in vapour pressure over the first two runs with no clear trend over the next six runs and a significant drop in the last two runs. As there is no clear trend from run three to run eight, this suggests that equilibrium with regard to vapour pressure had been reached. The significant drop in vapour pressure in the last two runs is either due to a more volatile impurity of the test item being eliminated from the test item or possible contamination of the shutter affecting its operation. Considering that the differences in the vapour pressure values over the first eight runs are not significant, and that the sudden drop in the final two runs may be due to contamination of the shutter, the vapour pressure value for the first run will be reported as the definitive value, justified as worst case with respect to environmental assessment.
