Principles of method if other than guideline:
Five replicate beakers were created for treatment. Twenty L. minor thalli were added, and the beakers were covered and incubated underneath fluorescent lights. Live and dead thalli were counted after 2 days (acute test) and 7 days (chronic test). A thallus was considered dead when no green pigment was visible.
