Description of key information

Low potential for bioaccumulation beyond normal physiological limits

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance quickly hydrolyses to its constituent ions including SO42-. Sulphate is an important component of living organisms and can be expected to be controlled by normal physiological processes (including uptake and excretion/elimination) in all living organisms. Therefore, the substance and its constituent ions have low potential for bioaccumulation beyond normal physiological limits in either aquatic or terrestrial organisms.
