Executive summary:

The determination of the surface tension of FAT 21030/E was based on OECD Guideline No. 115: “Surface Tension of Aqueous Solutions” (1995) and on the EEC Directive 92/69, Part A, methods for the determination of physio-chemical properties, A5 “Surface Tension”, EEC Publication No. L383, December 1992. The test was carried out on 0.25 % (w/w) aqueous solution of FAT 21030/E TE using the Tensiometer (Wilhelmy Plate Method). Based on the findings of the study, the surface tension of FAT 21030/E was determined to be 54.989 mN/m at room temperature ca 20 °C. The variation of specification factor was 0.003646 mN/m.
