Remarks:
The test item appearance was recorded before and after testing as yellow liquid. No change in appearance was observed under the conditions used during the study

A total of 20 runs were started over the main sequences, equilibrium has not been achieved during these runs and the mass readings have become too low and variable to allow accurate extrapolation to 25 °C.

Due to the complex nature of the test item it can be seen that repeated runs are potentially removing components of the test item, whilst under high vacuum, leading to low and variable mass readings which fail to reach equilibrium.

As a result of this, run 1 of the first sequence has been taken as the maximum vapor pressure for the test item due to being under vacuum for the shortest time after the preliminary test and usable mass readings showing good correlation were achieved.

Conclusions:
The maximum vapor pressure of the test item has been determined to be 7.35 x 10-3 Pa at 25 ºC.
Executive summary:

Reaction products of fatty acids, C18 (unsaturated) alkyl and epoxidized Fatty esters, with amines polyethylenepoly-, tetraethylenepentamine fraction has been determined, under the conditions used in this study, to have a maximum vapor pressure of 7.35 x 10-3 Pa at 25 °C, using the vapor pressure balance method, designed to be compatible with Method A.4 Vapour Pressure of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 104 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 23 March 2006.

A definitive value of vapor pressure has not been determined as equilibrium was not reached before the balance readings became too low and variable to have any meaning. An in-house estimation method can be employed to obtain a less than value using low and variable readings.

Based on the test results, the maximum vapor pressure of the test item has been determined to be 7.35 x 10-3 Pa at 25 ºC.
