A preliminary screening run was conducted by using 40 mL glass vial containing 10 mL of test substance. The sample was placed in a freezer over 72 hour period. After removing the sample from the freezer the test material remained as a viscous clear yellow liquid, no crystal formation was observed. The sample did not freeze at -20.0 °C. No further runs were required.

The freezing point of the test substance was determined to be <-20 °C.
