Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Under the test conditions chosen no biodegradability was observed.
Additional information
The biodegradability test (28 days) according to OECD Guideline 301 C was carried out for the test substance. 100 mg/L of the test substance and 30 mg/L activated sludge were incubated in a standard medium under aerobic conditions in an oxygen consumption analyzer in a closed system for 28 days.
The degree of degradation of the test suspensions (test substance + sludge, n=3) calculated from the oxygen consumption were 0%, -1% and 0% respectively. The mean degradability of test substance was 0%.
According to the results of direct quantitative analysis by HPLC, the test substance in the abiotic control (test substance + water, n=1) was 101% relative to the amount supplied and the test substance in the test suspensions (test substance + sludge, n=3) were detected at 101%, 101% and 101%. In the test suspensions, the degradability calculated from these values were 0%, 0% and 0%. The mean degradability of test substance by HPLC analysis was 0%.
As a result, the test substance remained quantitatively and was therefore proven to be non-biodegradable.
