Description of key information

There is no information available on the absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of p-anisidine in humans. The chemical is known to be absorbed into the body by inhalation of its vapor, through the skin and by ingestion. Considering the high water solubility and low partition co-efficient values, the chemical after absorption is likely to be bio-available for further metabolism. Reports also suggest that it leads to blood damage in living organisms. Thus, it is advised to use the chemical p-anisidine with caution.Since no information is available on the absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of p-anisidine in humans, bio-accumulation potential cannot be judged based on the available information.
