Description of key information
There are few reports of toxicity among occupational workers exposed to BTDA.
Additional information
Over the years of manufacture of BTDA, there have been few reports of adverse effects among workers. A report is available describing an occupational health study in a company using a mixture of an epoxy resin and BTDA as an epoxy hardener. After monitoring of workplace epoxy powder levels and administering questionnaires and pulmonary/dermal testing of exposed employees, it was concluded that there were no associated adverse effects of the epoxy powder in workers under the conditions monitored.
