- Justification:
The substance is not readily biodegradable according to read-across to CAS 4246 -51 -9 (enhanced OECD 301B study). It should therefore be considered as potentially P/vP from a precautionary point of view. Nevertheless, the substance is not B/vB based on an experimentally derived log Kow <-2.5 (pH 7.1, 25 °C, see IUCLID Ch. 4.7). In addition, several QSAR calculations (calculated BCF values range between 2.69 L/kg and 9.66 L/kg, BASF SE 2020; see IUCLID Ch. 5.3.1) indicate no significant potential for bioaccumulation. The substance is not T since the lowest available chronic value is >> 0.01 mg/L (Algae: 72 ErC10: 31.3 mg/L, nominal, not pH-adjusted, see IUCLID Ch. 6.1.5 ) and the substance holds no relevant classification.
In conclusion, the substance is not to be considered as a PBT/vPvB substance.
