Description of key information

Due to the hygroscopic properties of the test item, the particle size of the primary particles could not be determined in the experimental test. The existence of aggregates was confirmed by microscopic examination. The test item can thus not be characterised with respect to particle size distribution of its primary particles (Ferron, 2013).

Additional information

The test item is hygroscopic and forms aggregates (confirmed by microscopic examination), consisting mainly of 3 to 4 particles. The size distribution of the aggregates was found to range from approximately 325.166 µm to 2000 µm.
