- Conclusions:
- The test item showed no explosive properties.
- Executive summary:
A series of test according to EU Method A.14 were perfumed to determine the explosive properties of the test item. A test on thermal sensitivity with orifice plates with size of 6 and 2 mm, a test on shock sensitivity and a test on friction sensitivity were conducted. In the thermal sensitivity test, the test item burned with orange flames, but did not explode. In the shock and friction test the test item showed negative results as well. Therefore, the test item is non explosive.

Additional information
A series of tests according to EU Method A.14 were performed to determine the explosive properties of the test item. Tests on thermal sensitivity with orifice plates with size of 6 and 2 mm, on shock sensitivity and on friction sensitivity were conducted. In the thermal sensitivity test, the test item burned with orange flames, but did not explode. In the shock and friction test the test item showed negative results as well. Therefore, the test item is non explosive.
Justification for classification or non-classification
Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008
In accordance with Annex I, Section 2.1 of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP), as amended for the 15th time in Regulation (EU) 2020/1182, and UN GHS Rev 8 (2019) the substance has not to be classified as explosive in class 1.
