In the Klimisch 1 study from Angly (2000), the oxidizing properties of CTFEP (purity 91.4%) was determined under GLP according to the Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria. Part III, section 34, United Nations, 1995. Prior to performing the tests the test item was melted at about 40°C. The time for the pressure rise from 690 kPa to 2070 kPa ranged from 14.40 to 18.00 seconds. The test with the test item was performed in total 5 times. The reference item (65% aqueous nitric acid) had an average time of 3.92 seconds. Therefore, the test item is not considered an oxidizing substance and is therefore not considered a Division 5.1 substance.

The obtained results are considered as relevant for the further assessment.
