Emergency measure - Eyes: Irrigate with running water for at least 15 minutes and seek
medical attention if irritation occurs.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with free flowing water with soap and seek medical
advice if redness occurs.

advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: The substance is combustible and will burn if involved in a
fire, evolving noxious fumes (eg carbon oxides). However,
there is no experimental evidence to support the anticipated
combustion products.

Protective equipment: Full protective clothing and a self-contained breathing
apparatus must be worn.
Accidental release measures
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment conforming to
the relevant national or international standards as
mentioned in section 2.3.00. Absorb spillages onto a
suitable inert material (eg sand or soil). Carefully
transfer the spillage to waste containers, or use a sealed
industrial vacuum machine. Containers filled with waste
material must be labelled in the same way as the
original containers.
Clean the spillage area with water and detergent.
Dispose of waste material in accordance with local
regulations.
Handling and storage

any local regulations in order to avoid exposure by contact
and inhalation.
Engineering controls are necessary to reduce exposure to the
substance.
When exposure cannot be prevented or adequately controlled
appropriate personal equipment should be worn. Such

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: The substance should not be routinely discharged to the
environment. Spillages of the substance mixed with inert
material may be disposed of by landfill or by incineration
at an authorised tip in accordance with local regulations.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Contaminated items containing the substance can be disposed
of by incineration by burning under controlled conditions at
a licensed waste treatment processor in accordance with
local regulations. Stack gases should be scrubbed, because
noxious gases (e.g. Carbon oxides) could be formed.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The substance should not normally be discharged directly to
the sewage system or the aqueous environment. During use,
the amount of the substance contained in the preparation is
small, and any waste from preparations containing the
substance should not be released to the environment.
