Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: In case of inhalation of vapor, seek fresh air. Seek medical
attention in case of discomfort.
General information: No treatment needed if any signs not
reappeared after proper first aid.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush eyes with flowing water for at least 15 minutes
immediately. Seek medical attention if irritation develops.
General information: No treatment needed if any signs not
reappeared after proper first aid.
Emergency measure - Skin: Contact with the skin: Wipe up with a cloth and wash skin
with water. Seek medical attention if irritation develops.
General information: No treatment needed if any signs not
reappeared after proper first aid.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Seek medical attention in case of
discomfort.
General information: No treatment needed if any signs not
reappeared after proper first aid.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Small fires: powder or CO2 extinguishers recommended.
Large scale of fire: it is effective intercepting the air
flow (e.g., using bubble extinguisher). It may be dangerous
using stick water to extinguish because of enlarging fire.
Product arising from burning: COx, H2O.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Hand protection: Wear gloves
Eye protection: Safety goggles or protective eyeglasses with
side shields.
Special protection: Fire fighters should use self-contained
breathing equipment and protecting clothing.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Absorb spill with inert material (e.g., dry-sand or
sawdust), then place in chemical containers using non-
sparking tools. For small quantities, wipe up with a cloth
or paper towel.
Evacuate nonessential personnel. Wear proper protective
equipment. Remove all sources of ignition.
Handling and storage
Handling: Keep away of source of ignition. Observe usual precautions
for handling chemicals. Ensure adequate ventilation while
handling the substance. Avoid , contact with skin and eyes.
Wear suitable protective gloves and safety goggles. Wash
thoroughly after handling.
Storage: Keep containers tightly closed with replacement by nitrogen.
Keep temperature under 5'C.
(In case of exposure to temperatures above 5'C: white
precipitation might occur. However, this does not influence
its quality for cosmetic use).
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance is filled in 5 liters tinned steel cans, and
the top space in the can is filled with nitrogen gas.
