Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The melting point of HiMo LAB was determined to be < -20°C. The boiling point HiMo LAB was determined to be 257.3°C (530.5 K). The average relative density and density of the test substance were determined to be 0.8547 ± 0.0005 and 0.8532 ± 0.0005 g/mL at 20°C, respectively. Specific gravity is the density of the test substance divided by the density of water at 4°C, which is 1.000 g/mL. Thus, specific gravity and density are equivalent.

The test substance, HiMo LAB, was determined to be a Newtonian fluid. The viscosity of the test substance at 20.0 ± 0.0°C was determined to be 33.8 ± 0.8 cP and 33.8 ± 1.4 cP at 30 and 60 rpm, respectively, while the viscosity at 40.0 ± 0.0°C was determined to be 11.4 ± 0.1 cP and 11.2 ± 0.1 cP at 30 and 60 rpm, respectively.

The flash point of HiMo LAB was determined to be 216 ± 2.5°C.

The water solubility of HiMo LAB was estimated by using three quantitative structure activity relationship (QSAR) methods. The water solubility was not able to determine experimentally. EPI Suite estimated water solubility from fragments as 4.0074E-07 mg/L. ALOGPS estimated the water solubility as 4.96E-03 mg/L (ALOGpS) and 6.53E-03 mg/L (AC_logS), respectively. SPARC estimated the water solubility as 5.06E-10 mg/L.

The vapor pressure estimates from the two QSAR methods conducted were as follows. EPI Suite estimated the vapor pressure as 2.2E-06 Pa, SPARC estimated the vapor pressure as 6.48E-09 Pa .
