Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The sample is a clear liquid in the boiling point tube at room temperature. During the course of heating, sample decomposition was observed. Decomposition was indicated by a change in the sample color from clear to a pale yellow. The onset of this slow, subtle color change was difficult to detect. Boiling of the sample did not occur. Figure 1 shows photographs of the boiling point tube before and after heating of the sample.
