RFR 6634 has no oxidizing properties when tested according to UN-MTC Procedure O.3.

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
RFR 6634 has no oxidizing properties when tested according to UN-MTC Procedure O.3.
Executive summary:

RFR 6634 is hygroscopic. The test substance was taken from the sample container in a nitrogen atmosphere.

The test was performed as stipulated in UN-MTC Procedure O.3 ‘Gravimetric test for oxidizing solids'.

The substance in its delivery state was measured. The solid was mixed in a 1:1 and 4:1 ratio, by mass, with fibrous cellulose. Separate aliquots of 30 ± 0.1 g of each mixture were formed into method given conical piles and ignited by means of an electrically-heated ignition wire.

The burning rate (BR) depends on the burning intensity and the amount of cellulose in the mixture. Therefore it is defined as the quotient of 60 % of the total amount of cellulose in the conical pile and the main combustion time t20-80. The time t20-80 is the time between 20 % and 80 % of the total mass loss. The total mass loss is the difference in mass before ignition and at the end of the main reaction, which is defined as a rate of mass loss less than 1 g per minute.
