Table 1. The determination of the Boiling range for the substance T002019 (summary of the capillary test)

Test No  Starting Temperature (deg C)  Heating rate (K/min)  Boiling range (deg C)  Boiling range (K)
 110  1  277 - 281  550 - 554
2  110  1  275 - 278  548 - 551
 Mean boiling point  276 - 280+-2 deg C  549 - 553+-2 K

First bubbles appeared at about 170 deg C and at about 280 deg Ca stream of air bubbles rose from the capillary indicating boiling of the test article. At this temperature the sample turned black under strong foaming. The test article obviously underwent degradation during boiling. The sample color was light brown in the beginning and became black during the test but the liquid sample stayed clear.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
In conclusion the boiling range for T002019 was determined to be 276 to 280 +/- 2 °C.
