Surface tension of IR5878 (orthosulfamuron) was determined as 71.4 mN/m at 22°C (3.77x10-2 g/L solution) using a ring method based on ISO 304, Method A5 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC which is reference in Council Directive 91/414/EEC, Annex II as amended in Commission Directive 94/37/EC, Annex I, 2.1.4 and Method 115 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995. The test material is considered not to be a surface active material.
