Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush immediately for at least 15 minutes with water.
Consult a physician.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash immediately with plenty of water and soap ; take off
immediately all contaminated clothing.
If symptoms persist seek medical advise.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Give plenty of water to drink, induce vomiting.
Never give water to an unconscious person.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: On the basis of the composition, combustion in a
thereforeequipped installation will generate water and
carbon oxydes.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Fire fighting personnel must wear self contained breathing
apparatus with a positive pressure in the masks.
Accidental release measures
possibly empty watersystems.
Remove to a safe place.
Handling and storage
Apply, if necessary, room and local ventilation.
Standard personal protection : working clothes, neoprene
gloves and safety goggles against splashing.
Storage: Well closed in a warehouse under normal storage conditions
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Metal drums.

Stability and reactivity
Chemical reaction with water: None.
Dust explosion: Not appicable.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
seen from the studies carried out, the substance reacts
easily with water, leading to decomposition products which
cannot be used for its intended purpose. The possibilities
of recovering or recycling are therefore limited. If a
reaction with water occurs, the product must be destroyed by
incineration in a therefore equipped installation.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: The risk of the product, based on the present knowledge, is
related to the aquatic environment. If the product enters
watersystems, there are no other means known than mechanical
means to remove the material from the water.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: No special techniques known.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration is the best technique to destroy the material.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: No special techniques known.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable.
The substance will not be used by the public. Not only it is
not intended, but also there is a practical threshold. After
application of the coatings, curing at elevated temperatures
is necessary. Possibilities that the public at large does
not have.
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable
Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - others: Not applicable.
