BQL: below of quantitation limit

Conclusions:
The water solubility of Solvent Blue 79 was determined to be less than the quantitation limit (0.1 mg/L after dilution) at 20 °C ± 0.5 °C using the column elution method for the performance of the main test.
Executive summary:

The Column Elution method, according to OECD 105 was used to evaluate the water solubility of Solvent Blue 79. HPLC was used as the method for analysis. Solvent Blue 79 was not detected in any of the analysed solutions, therefore the water solubility can be concluded to be less than the LOQ of the method (0.1mg/L)

Description of key information

The water solubility of Solvent Blue 79 was determined using the column elution method. No Solvent Blue 79 could be detected in any of the test solutions therefore the solubility was determined to be less than the quantitation limit (0.1 mg/L after dilution) at 20 °C ± 0.5 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
0.1 mg/L
at the temperature of:
