In the first determination bubbles immediately occurred after setting the test tube into the aluminium block. A boiling chain was visible at 214.4 °C and the gas burner was switched off. Bubble chain broke at 197.6°C.

In the second determination bubbles were visible at 190.5 °C. A boiling chain was noted again at 214.5 °C and the gas burner was switched off. Bubble chain broke at 197.3°C.

After cooling down the test item appeared visually unchanged.

Results:

The boiling temperatures at standard pressure were calculated following the equation of Sidney-Young (only for small pressure deviations).

Conclusions:
The boiling point was performed with the Siwoloboff method.
The boiling point of the test item was determined with 197.9 ± 0.2 °C (corresponding to 471.0 ± 0.2 K). This value is the mean of two independent determinations, corrected to standard pressure (101.325 kPa) using the Sidney-Young equation.
No observations were made which might cause doubts on the validity of the study outcome. Therefore, the result of the study is considered valid.
