Study design

Details on sampling:
- Samples were sorted by 10-day periods of time of harvest from as early as possible to as late as possible (year 1980).
- Samples were dried, and the complete aerial parts underwent steam distillation to obtain the essential oils.

Any other information on results incl. tables

The mean percentage of cyclododecane in the essential oils was 1.91;  2.01; and 2.55 % for the three sites.

The composition of the essential  oils was approximately constant throughout the period of possible harvest.
