Description of key information

Relative Self-Ignition Temperature: 247°C but this value for the dried material has no relevance for the risk assessment of the substance since the substance will always be associated with water during its whole life cycle.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In the non-GLP Klimisch1 study from Kintrup (2016) the self ignition temperature of the test substance was determined according to EU method A.16.The test item reaches 400 °C by self heating. The dried test item has a relative self ignition temperature of 247°C according to the definition in the Council Regulation (EC) 440/2008, method A.16. But this value for the dried material has no relevance for the risk assessment of the substance since the substance will always be associated with water during its whole life cycle.

This information is considered to be relevant and reliable for the further risk assessment.
