Description of key information

A study performed according toModified MITI (II) Test - OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals No. 302C (adopted 1981) the test substance FAT 92504/A was reported to be not biodegradable (0 % biodegradation after 28 days).

Further, the relevant BOD5/COD quotient is <0.5 , therefore the substance is not indicative of rapid degradation. FAT 92504 is likely to not hydrolyse but show a tautomeric relationship between the keto-enol and the amino-imine and thus after an initial loss of the test item a tautomeric equilibration. The adsorption coefficient (Koc) of the test item at pH 7 has been determined to be in the range 8.03E3 to greater than 4.27E5, log10 Koc in the range 3.91 to greater than 5.63. These values indicate that the test item not to be have mobility.
