Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
FAT 20011/E is a black colored powder at 20 °C. The substance showed no melting or boiling point up to 330 °C while at higher temperatures thermic decomposition occurred. The average relative density at 20 °C was found to be 1.4955 g/cm³, as determined by a study performed according to OECD Guideline 109. The percentage of FAT 20011/E with an inhalable particle size <100 μm was 33.5 %, with a thoracic particle size <10.0 μm was 2.60 % and with respirable particle size <5.5 μm was 0.29 %. The partition co-efficient n-octanol/water of FAT 20011/E at 20 °C was determined be 0.291 (log Pow). The water solubility of FAT 20011/E at 20 °C was determined to be 2.0 g/l. The surface tension of FAT 20011/E was determined to be 44.444 mN/m at 20 °C. The flash point determination is considered to be technically not feasible, as thermic decomposition was seen in the melting point study. FAT 20011/E showed no auto-ignition until 550 °C and the substance is considered not to be highly flammable and does not ignite spontaneously when in contact with water or humid air. The substance is considered to be non-explosive according to Directive 67/548/EEC and Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 and no further testing are required. Oxidising properties were not determined. In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex VII, this study does not need to be conducted as this substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials on the basis of its chemical structure.
