Description of key information

Mean diameters (distribution type: volume): D (v, 0.1) = 1.10 μm; D (v, 0.5) = 2.12 μm; D (v, 0.9) = 4.11 μm

Additional information

A study was performed in accordance with ISO 13320 using laser diffraction in water as dispersion liquid. The test substance was introduced in the dispersion unit filled with water under constant stirring. The obscuration (fraction of incident light that is attenuated due to extinction by particles) did not exceed 25 % and did not fall below 10 %. The test item was treated with ultrasonic and the measurement was started. The analysis was finished when the whole amount of the test substance had passed the laser beam.
