Additional information

The acute toxicity of Isopropenyl acetate to Daphnia magna was evaluated in a static 48-hour immobilization test according to OECD Guideline 202.The study encompassed 6 treatment groups (5 dose rates of the test item, control) each containing 20 individuals. The immobility of the Daphnia was determinedin a static 48-hour testby visual controls after 24 and 48 hours. The test concentrations were100, 46, 21, 10, 4.6 mg test item/L (nominal) and a control. The test media was prepared just before introduction of daphnia (= start of the test). After 48 hours of exposure no immobilization of the test animals was observed in the control and up to a test item concentration of 21 mg/L. The 48-hour EC50 value was 47.17 mg test item/L.
