Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key result
Melting / freezing pt.:

Atm. press.:
1 013 hPa
Remarks on result:
other: melting range, mean value of 2 determination

The test item showed a broad melting range from about -30 °C to 42 °C with two distinct endothermic peaks at -10 °C and 37°C peak temperature.

Observed thermic processes:

A 3rd endothermic peak was found in Test 1 at 10 °C peak temperature. Between determination A and 8 , small discrepancies were observed around 0°C with no influence on the resulting melting range.
In order to survey the thermic behavior of the test item, a TG/DSC-Test (non-GLP) was run up to 600 °C.
A stepwise weight lass starting at about 50 •c with a total weight lass at about 200 •c showed the vaporization of the test item.

Description of key information

Melting range: about -30°C to 42°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The determination was conducted by DSC according to OECD Guideline 102.
