The low water solubility, rapid hydrolysis and use patterns of TiTDP indicate that exposure to terrestrial organisms is unlikely to occur to any significant extent. Further, TiTDP has been shown to be of a low order of toxicity for aquatic and mammalian endpoints.

Additionally, TiTDP has a limited exposure profile.  It is used as a stabiliser in polymer formulations. As such, its use is limited to industrial locations where the use is in largely closed systems.  There is minimal release to the environment during these processes.  Once compounded into a polymer it stays in the matrix.  As such, any subsequent use of the formulated polymer would be considered an article with low release potential.
