Using a linear increase in temperature of about 0.5°C/min up to 60°C, test substance showed no self ignition reaction. At the end of the experiment the test substance was liquid. The test substance is considered not to be auto-flammable, according to the criteria as described in the guideline.

Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the relative self-ignition temperature of the read-across substance, Oils, vegetable, deodorizer distillates according to the auto-flammability test conditions as mentioned in the EU Method A.16'. Using a linear increase in temperature of about 0.5°C/min up to 60°C, test substance showed no self-ignition reaction. At the end of the experiment the test substance was liquid. Under the conditions of the study, the substance is not considered auto-flammable (Fieseler, 2010n). Based on the results of the read across study, the self-ignition temperature of the test substance, Soaps, stocks, vegetable oil, acidulated is not considered auto-flammable.
