Description of key information

Additional information

Abiotic degradation

The substance is readily biodegradable (failing 10 d window) and has a low water solublility. Therefore, hydrolysis is not expected to be important. However, there is experimental evidence that the substance is not stable and degrades rapidly in aqueous media (see IUCLID chapter 4.8 and CSR chapter 1.3).

Biodegradation

The substance is readily biodegradable, but failing 10-day window.

Bioaccumulation

Significant accumulation in organisms is not to be expected.

Transport and distribution

The test substance exhibits a high potential for adsorption. However, as the substance is rapidly degradable adsorption is not likely. Volatilization is negligible.
