First-aid measures

- General advice:
Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Position and transport victim on their side. In case of respiratory distress, bring into semi upright, seated position.

- If inhaled:
Move victim to fresh air. Put victim at rest and keep warm. In case of respiratory tract irritation, consult a physician.

- In case of skin contact:
After contact with skin, take off immediately all contaminated clothing, and wash immediately with plenty of water. In case of skin irritation, consult a physician.

- In case of eye contact:
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of flowing water for several minutes holding eyelids apart. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. In case of eye irritation consult an ophthalmologist.

- If swallowed:
Do not induce vomiting. Give nothing to eat or drink. Seek medical advice immediately.

- Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:

Symptoms:
Prolonged or repeated contact with the preparation can lead to irritations of mucous membranes and of skin such as redness, formation of blebs, dermatitis, etc. Inhaling of drolets in the air or aerosols may lead to irritations of the respiratory tract. Harmful by inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed.

- Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed.

Immediate medical attention, First Aid, decontamination treatment of symptoms

Fire-fighting measures

- Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media:
Dry extinguishing powder, foam, carbon dioxide (CO2).

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, its combustion products, or released gases:
Can polymerise exothermically if heated, exposed to air, sunlight or by addition or free radical initiators. Polymerised with danger of fire and explosion. Hazardous decomposition byproducts may form with exposure to high temperatures. Inhaling hazardous decomposing products can cause serious health damage.

-Advice for firefighters
Special protective equipment for firefighting: Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and chemical protective clothing.

Additional information on firefighting:
Cool closed containers that are near the source of the fire. Keep unprotected people away and stay on the upwind side. Do not allow water used to extinguish fire to enter drains, ground or waterways. Treat runoff as hazardous.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Personal precautions:
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Keep away from sources of ignition. Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapour/spray Wear personal protection equipment. Personal protective equipment: Refer to chapter “Exposure controls / personal protection

- Environmental precautions
Environmental precautions:
Do not allow uncontrolled discharge of product into the environment. Retain contaminated washing water and dispose it.

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Methods for cleaning up:
Measures to prevent aerosol and dust generation Isolate leaked material using non-flammable absorption agent (e.g. sand, earth, vermiculit, diatomaceous earth) and collect it for disposal in appropriate containers in accordance with the local regulations
(see chapter “Disposal considerations”). Do not allow to enter into ground-water, surface water or drains.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling
Advice on safe handling: Avoid the formation of aerosol. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Da not breathe vapour. Provide for sufficient ventilation and punctiform suction at critical points. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection / face protection.

- Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Can polymerise exothermically if heated, exposed to air, sunlight or by addition or free radial initiators.

- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Storage space and container requirements:
- Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well ventilated place.
- Protect against direct sunlight.
- Storage temperature: < 35 °C.
- Suitable material for Container: Refined steel.

Storage specifications: Keep under inert gas: 5-8% by volume Oxygen.
Recommended storage temperature < 35 °C

Additional transport information

Additional transport information
Precautions on transport:
1. Conform to the descriptions in the heading of “Handling and Storage” and the general precautions on corrosive substances.
2. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight (put a cover)
3. Store at 35°C or lower
4. Keep away from water leak (e. g. rain)
5. Avoid rough handling
6. Fix containers to prevent fall overturning

Exposure controls / personal protection

1. Technical protection measures
Engineering control: Use explosion proof electric appliances, ventilating equipment, and illumination equipment designated by the manufacturer. Take preventive measures against electrostatic discharge. Provide an eye wash and a safety shower at the working place where the product is stored or handled, and clearly indicate the positions of the facilities.

2. Hygiene measures
When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Wash contaminated clothing prior to re-use. Street clothing should be stored separately from work clothing. Wash hands and face before breaks and after work and take a shower if necessary Protect skin by using skin protective cream.

3. Hand protection
The quality of the protective gloves resistant to chemicals must be chosen as a function of the specific working place concentration and quantity of hazardous substances. For special purposes, it is recommended to check the resistance to chemicals of the protective gloves mentioned above together with the supplier of these gloves.

4. Feet protection
Put on an appropriate feed protection

5. Body protection
Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection. Care should be taken in the selection of protective clothing to ensure that inflammation and irritation of the skin at neck and wrists through contact with the product arc avoided.

6. Eye protection
Wear eye glasses with side protection (goggle type).

7. Respiratory protection
Put on an appropriate respiratory protection.

Stability and reactivity

- Stability
This product is considered as a stable material under normal and anticipated storage and handling conditions.

- Potential hazardous reaction
It easily polymerizes by heating, light, moisture, peroxide, and the iron rust, etc. The temperature rises when the polymerization advances rapidly. As a result, the vapor pressure rises accelerating, and there is danger of exploding.

- Conditions to avoid
keep away from heat sources, sparks and open flames,
avoid radicals and exposure to light,
storage temperature > 35 °C.

- Hazardous substances generated when mixed or contacted
peroxides, oxidising agent, strong acid, iron rust

- Hazardous decomposition products
Thermal decomposition can lead to the escape of irritating gases and vapours, carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2).

Disposal considerations

Comply with all federal, state and local regulations. Do not dump this product into sewers, on the ground or into any body of water.
Product: Commission a waste processing contractor in accordance with all applicable regulations.
