Description of key information

According Column 2 of Annex IX and X of REACH regulation in the absence of toxicity data for soil organisms, the equilibrium partitioning method may be applied to assess the hazard to soil organisms. Terrestrial toxicity study does not need to be conducted if the chemical safety assessment indicates no need to further investigate the effect of the substance on soil organisms. Since the chemical safety assessment point out that there is no risk for the terrestrial compartment no further testing will be proposed.
