Additional information

No significant biodegradation has been observed under test conditions of the readily biodegradation screening study. Furthermore, a simulation study in surface water at 12 °C was performed indicating no relevant biodegradation in this compartment within 60 days. Based on the identified uses and the distribution modelling of the substance no relevant direct and/or indirect exposure to sediment and/or soil is expected.

Therefore, no significant route of biodegradation in the environment was identified and consequently the substance is considered as very persistent in the environment.
