Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Executive summary:

The oxidizing properties of the test article were predicted using Method A21 “Oxidizing Properties (Liquids)” of Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 of 30 May 2008. Based on the chemical structure, the result for oxidizing properties of the test article was negative.  The structure was assessed for chemical groups that would imply oxidizing properties. Examples of such structures are nitrates, metal oxides, hypofluorites, difluoroaminopolynitroaryls, perchlorates, bromates, and iodites. Full structural details are given in Bretherick’s Handbook of Reactive Chemical Hazards, 4thedition, Butterworths, London, 1990.

Description of key information

The oxidizing properties of the test article were predicted using Method A21 “Oxidizing Properties (Liquids)” of Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 of 30 May 2008. Based on the chemical structure, the result for oxidizing properties of the test article was negative.
