Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

With high probability acutely not harmful to daphnids, no toxic effects occur in the range of water solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A GLP guideline study according to OECD 202 using a solvent was conducted. The EC0 of the test substance in Daphnia magna was found to be 8.7 mg/L based on the highest measured test concentration (CIBA-GEIGY 928219, 1992). The water solubility was determined to be lower than 0.000021 g/L in a GLP study according to OECD 105 (CIBA-GEIGY 22845, 1993). Since the EC0 was found to be clearly above the water solubility, the tested substance is considered to be with high probability acutely not harmful to daphnids.
