Description of key information

Toxicity to aquatic algae was studied on Chlorella pyrenoidosa for 72 hours. The lowest observed adverse effect concentration (LOAEC) and no-observed adverse effect concentrations (NOAEC) for N, N-dimethylaniline were found to be 22 mg/L and 14 mg/L respectively.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC50 for freshwater algae:
22 mg/L
EC10 or NOEC for freshwater algae:
14 mg/L
