First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of direct contact of the substance to eyes, flush

immediately with water for at least 15 minutes.

Emergency measure - Skin: In case of direct contact of the substance to skin, remove

liquid from the skin with dry cloth or towel and wash

exposed area with detergent.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: In case of ingestion of the substance, wash out mouth with

water provided the person is conscious. Never give anything

by mouth to an anconscious person. Call a physician

immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide extinguisher or foam extinguisher may be used

for the substance.

Product arising from burning: Fluorine, hydrofluoric acid and various fluorinated

hydrocarbons will be included in the gases generated from

the substance.

Protective equipment: Respiratory protective equipmemt to protect direct

inhalation as well as protective wears to avoid any contact

to skin or eyes of the generated gasses from the substance.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Contain the spill or leak. Scrape up with cardboard or rag

and place in container. Pay attention to generation of

hydrogen gas.

Handling and storage

Handling: Personal protective equipment is generally reccomended to be

worn to protect direct contact to skin or eyes without any

specific reasonable ground.

Storage: The substance can be stored in usual cans or drums made of

steel.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The imported material contains 20-30% of test substance and

is supplied in 0.15 kg to 20 kg plastic bottles, plastic

syrings or metals cans.

Stability and reactivity

Chemical reaction with water: The substance is not reactive to water in the ordinary

conditions.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance is only imported into EU area as a component

processed into fluorinated hydrocarbon rubber compounds.

There will be no way found for recovery of the substance

from the rubber compounds.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The fluorinated hydrocarbon rubbers, formulated with the

substance, are inflammable. Therefore, they are generally

buried underground for destruction.
