persists or signs of toxicity occur, seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, foam, carbon dioxide and dry powder may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon,

nitrogen and sulfur together with hydrogen chloride gas and

soot.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Protective clothing and a self-contained breathing apparatus

should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1). Contain

spillage. Sweep up or collect using an industrial vacuum.

Transfer to suitable labelled containers and dispose of by

incineration in accordance with local regulations. Wash

spill site thoroughly with water. Avoid discharge to water

courses.

Handling and storage

Handling: Ensure adequate ventilation and control dust formation. Full

body tyvek coverings with hood and shoe covers, two pairs of

gloves (latex inner, thicker outer glove) and a full face

air purifying respirator with high efficiency particulate

filter (or supplied air respirator) should be worn. Hands

and face should be washed thoroughly after handling, keeping

latex gloves on until all potentially contaminated, personal

protective equipment are removed.
