First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Supply fresh air. If required, provide artificial
respiration. Keep patient warm. Consult doctor if symptoms
persist. In case of unconsciousness bring patient into
stable side position for transport.
Emergency measure - Eyes: rinse opened eyes for several minutes under running water
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly
Emergency measure - Ingestion: In case of persistent symptoms consult doctor
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Powder, alcohol-resistant foam, water spray, carbon dioxide
Product arising from burning: decomposition products of the solvents: ethanol, methanol,
propan-2-ol and xylene including
Carbon monoxide (CO). Carbon dioxide (CO2). Nitrous
gases (NOx).
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: individual breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: isolate the spillage, collect mechanically
Handling and storage
Handling: Proposed recommendations for handling: Ensure good
ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace.
Wear personal protective equipment as detailed in the
Material Safety Datasheet.
