Chapter 3, Section 6.10, Part A of the TGD states that studies of the mechanisms of toxicity may be necessary where there are indications that active substance could have e.g. a non-genotoxic mechanism for carcinogenicity, species specific effects, adverse effects on reproduction, immunotoxicity or hormone related effects.

The test results for sodium N-chlorobenzenesulphonamide trihydrate show, that the substance has none of those effects that would indicate performing a mechanistic study.
